The Gambling Control Commission is an independent Regulatory Authority of commercial gambling (gaming and betting) in Trinidad and Tobago, except for The National Lottery.
Our regulations and licensing requirements are designed to protect consumers and promote responsible gambling, and we are committed to working with you to ensure that your business is operating in compliance with these requirements.
Presently, Parts I, II and X of the Gambling (Gambling and Betting) Control Act No 8 of 2021 (the Act) have been proclaimed by the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago which, inter alia, (i) establishes the Commission as managed by its members inclusive of staffing requirements (ii) sets out the functions of the Commission; and (iii) speaks to disclosure or confidentiality requirements, prior to the proclamation of the substantive provisions of the Act.
